We have established our own in-house laboratory.

In our Kyoto headquarters, in order to be responsible for the safety of the food products we handle, we have established our own in-house laboratory for analyzing food samples.

It is rare for a company like ours, which does not own any production facilities, to own an in-house testing laboratory. However, we decided to do so with the priority of ensuring food safety.

By conducting microbial testing internally, we can develop our unique insights into hygiene management, thus ensuring enhanced safety protocols. Moreover, this allows us to conduct a diverse range of food tests promptly and flexibly.

In our in-house microbial testing, we not only inspect our flagship product, fresh salmon, but also various other food items as well. In the first year, we anticipate conducting approximately 1,000 microbial tests.

Looking ahead, we aspire to expand the scope of our testing services beyond microbial analysis to include nutritional component analysis. This expansion aligns with our mission to provide our customers with valuable insights and information.
