We Sponsored FEGASQUE, a Regional Contribution Event held in Chile.
FEGASQUE, a week-long event organized by our business partner, Deep Sea Food (DSF), was held in the city of Quellón, Chile, and started on Saturday, October 8.
The event, initiated by President Guillermo in 2017, marks its 8th year in 2024. Its purpose is to give back to the workers at the fisheries processing plant in Quellón and their families. It also aims to support young people studying at local culinary schools. President Guillermo's desire to support young people aspiring to enter the world of food is strengthened through his own experiences of poverty and hardship.
During this event, renowned chefs from around the world conducted classes in culinary schools. This provided students with a valuable opportunity to learn directly from top chefs and experience their skills firsthand.
“This year's event was even more exciting than last year’s,” said our representative who attended the event. Our representative attributes the event’s success to “the cooperation of the embassies of various countries that agreed with President Guillermo's ideas.”
We will continue to maintain close relationships with suppliers worldwide and actively contribute to the development of their regions.
